The article states that the author of the monograph did not intend to present <br \/>\na comprehensive and detailed research of the situation in Turkey during the aforementioned period. The book<br \/>\nfocuses on whether people of the Ottoman Empire could see their moral corruption and how they could deal with it. The monograph only analyzes the late Ottoman society, it doesn\u2019t analyze Arab sources and only investigates Turkish community as the core stratum of the Ottoman Empire.
