Abstract.<\/em><\/strong> The article reviews the analysis of the historical, literary and socio-political views of D.N. Alshits, undertaken in the monograph by N.A. Mininkov. It shows that the researcher has succeeded in presenting to the reader the outstanding personality of a caring citizen, a prominent historian, and a bright literary critic and playwright.<\/p>\n
