Kolgushkina\u2019s publication \u201cThe color of family life, dear to me\u201d: photo album of the Sreznevsky dynasty (Ryazan, 2025). The author denotes that this publication actually an encyclopedia covering the life of I. I. Sreznevsky and his descendants. A special place in the review is given to the description of the concept and structure of the book, which serves as a visual history of both the family and the country. Special emphasis is placed on the exceptional source value of the published photographic materials, which are based on the archives and family collections of the scholar\u2019s dynasty. A significant portion of these documents has never been published before. This gives the publication special historical significance. The review concludes that the album has a high potential as a primary source for compiling photo chronicles of outstanding figures in Russian culture and scholarship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> I.
