Abstract<\/strong>This article is devoted to the identification of thematic groups of phraseological units in the early Yunna Moritz\u2019s poetic texts, collected in the book of poems \u201cLoza\u201d (\u201cThe Vine\u201d) (1970). The relevance of our research lies in the fact that the discovery of semantic and associative patterns of the use of phraseological units by a modern author helps to identify the individual style of the creator of the text, and also contributes to the compilation of an exhaustive thematic classification of phraseological units that has not been formed yet. The purpose of the scientific article is to divide the common language and transformed phraseological units used by the creator of the text into representative thematic groups and characterize the obtained results. The subject of the research is phraseological units in Yunna Moritz\u2019s early poetic texts. As a result of the analysis, phraseological units with temporal, fateful, psycho-emotional meaning, with the meaning of value and spiritual and moral guidelines, mental and intellectual activity, qualitative and physical characteristics of a person, as well as phraseological units characterizing speech activity and interpersonal relationships were identified. The conclusions based on the consideration of eight thematic groups confirm that phraseological semantics in the Russian language has an anthropocentric character (the idiomatic units of the five groups directly describe a person, and the elements included in the other three groups express the narrator\u2019s attitude to time, fate, and metaphysical issues), and also indicate that the distinctive feature of Yunna Moritz as a linguistic personality is the frequent use of common language and transformed phraseological units representing value meanings. The author\u2019s individual linguistic world-image is rich in metaphors based on phraseological units. The research results contribute to linguopoetic, linguocognitive, and linguocultural research, as well as the teaching of relevant disciplines in higher education.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
