Economic aspects of the military conflict between Great Britain and Argentina in 1982. Pp. 79–84.

Abstract. The article examines the main economic features of the emergence and course of the Anglo-Argentine military conflict over the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) in 1982. The author pays special attention to the analysis of the economic potential of each of the states at war. The paper concludes that one of the main causes of Argentina’s military defeat in this conflict was the economic insolvency of the state.
